Photography is many things to me: my outlet, my first love, my way of seeing and speaking about the world. At it's heart, though, photography is really about connection - with the subject, with light, with nature, with moment. Recently I spent a lovely spring morning at the Biltmore with Madu and Gowtham - and a few thousand of our closest friends - and what I found again is that photography gives me the privilege of connecting and participating in people's lives who I otherwise would never meet. We had a wonderful time, snapped some beautiful photos, and shared stories of food, family, tradition, life, and love. That, my friends, is what it's all about.
